Intern at Arp-Hansen Hotel Group

In addition to the curriculum at the Hotel and Restaurant School and the practical part of the internship at the hotel, our students will attend classes at Arp-Hansen Hotel Group’s internal teaching academy. Whether you are studying to become a Chef, Waiter or Receptionist, the teaching academy is a mandatory part of your education with us. There are approximately 6 days per year at our teaching academy for Receptionists and 2 days for Chefs and Waiters.

Many of our former students are still with us either as professional Chefs, Waiters, Receptionists, Supervisors, Sous Chefs, Booking Manager or Reception Manager.

What kind of interns are we looking for and where?

Intern of the year

Intern of the year is an annual event established in 2011 for our F&B interns and in 2012 for our receptionist interns. It’s a day of in-house competition, where every hotel appoints one intern within each area offered at that particular hotel.

It’s a fun and educational day that also serves to prepare the interns for their final exam.
