Our guest’s wellbeing is our highest priority

For our guests, SAFE STAY means that their safety, security and health is our highest priority at Arp-Hansen Hotel Group. We have a high standard of hygiene and cleaning in our hotels to ensure that our hotels always appear nice, clean and welcoming to our guests. Our guests are always guaranteed a clean and safe stay with us.

Specifically, SAFE STAY includes the following initiatives:

Clean hotel rooms

All hotel rooms are thoroughly cleaned between guests’ arrival with environmentally-friendly products, which are labelled with the Nordic Swan. Door handles, remote controls, hair dryers, sinks, electric sockets and other surfaces are disinfected. We replace the towels and make up the bed with freshly laundered linens.

Common areas

Exposed surfaces, such as door handles, payment terminals and elevator buttons, are continuously disinfected thoroughly in the common areas. Stands and bottles of hand sanitizer are freely available to guests and staff in all common areas, facilities and restaurants in our hotels.

Conference

Arp-Hansen Hotel Group accommodates 70+ meeting and conference rooms, as well as a congress hall. All our meeting venues have a Green Key environmental certification. Door handles, chairs, tables, office supplies, coffee machines, AV equipment and other surfaces are cleaned and disinfected before and after conferences. Stands and bottles of hand sanitizer are available in all meeting rooms.

Green Key is the most common eco-label awarded in international tourism. To be able to use the label, you have to meet a number of strict environmental requirements across 13 areas such as, e.g. energy and water consumption.

In Denmark, we have opted to apply the strictest criteria among all Green Key countries. The Arp-Hansen Hotel Group was the first major hotel chain to join the scheme. This happened in 2009.

The label focuses on the overall environmental impact from production and use. This means strict environmental requirements in all stages of a product’s lifecycle, including strict requirements to chemicals.

We at the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group use the label for soap, shampoo, lotion and dishwasher detergent. All soap and lotion products that we use are labelled with the Nordic Swan.

The Nordic Swan and the EU Ecolabel are Denmark’s official eco-labels.
