Sustainable solutions with the right partners

Responsible Procurement is the first of four focus areas in Arp-Hansen Hotel Group's ESG strategy. Through our procurement, we can demand environmental, climate, and social standards in our value chain, and we can create demand for new solutions, products, and production methods. In this way, we can influence the footprint that we - and our partners - leave on society, our environment, and the world around us.

As a hotel and conference company, we must balance guests' expectations and demands for their stay with sustainable considerations, and since we are not willing to compromise on either, it is our task to be innovative, curious, and proactive in finding the golden sustainable solutions with the right partners and collaborators.

Sustainability already has a significant impact on our procurement practices today, and with this strategy, we are elevating our ambitions even further, raising the bar, and setting specific goals for our work with responsible purchasing.

The ambitions and goals presented in the chapter about Responsible Procurement in the ESG strategy will be further unfolded through concrete initiatives in a new procurement strategy that we expect to launch in the spring of 2025.

Our commitments

1. Our partnerships are transparent, mutually beneficial, and centred around common ambitious goals.

2. We actively work with certifications as a governance tool and increase the share of certified products and partners.

3. We purchase food and beverage thoughtfully and serve top-notch plant-based dining experiences.

4. We have fewer deliveries of goods and fewer kilometres driven on diesel and petrol.
