Good Governance
A sustainable value chain
In our double materiality assessment in 2024, we concluded that it will require a concentrated effort and close collaboration with our suppliers to increase our knowledge of our value chain - particularly in the third and fourth tier – and to ensure that our ESG expectations for suppliers and products are manifested in the value chain over the coming years.
We recognize that this is a difficult task for our partners who are faced with establishing processes to obtain, extract and deliver ESG-related data. This applies, for example, to data on producers' geographical location, production and employee conditions, their due diligence, etc.
Naturally, we are ready to help in the process so that we can reach our goals together, and as part of the effort to take our share of the responsibility, we have thus established four obligations under Good Governance, linked to this specific task, as well as other governance efforts:
Our commitments
13. We work actively to make our value chain more sustainable by setting clear requirements for good behavior, and we ourselves serve as a good example.
14. We carry out ongoing due diligence, handle identified risks as soon as possible and follows up on our progress.
15. We invest in data systems and incorporate ESG data into our collaborations, aiming to making the most sustainable choices possible.
16. We communicate honestly and reliably to employees and to the outside world about our ESG efforts.
